The NeuroMite Bridging and Enhancement program is designed for students requiring special learning support (e.g., students sitting below or around the minimum acceptable NAPLAN score). It is conducted with students over two consecutive terms with up to 48 classroom sessions, typically run three times per week.

The base package caters for up to 18 students and is delivered in small groups of up to 6 students at a time, which may consist of students of different ages/grades. Sessions can also be conducted individually for students depending on their learning needs, motivation, or emotional maturity.

  • Learning difficulties in lower performing students are often caused by deficits in the abilities of alertness, attention,   concentration, memory, or impulse control. These deficits can be diagnosed precisely and a NeuroMite program tailored to target the students’ specific needs.
  • The rehabilitation of specific cognitive abilities for application in the learning process in the school setting.
  • Improvements in cognitive abilities and positive mindsets may help to progress academic results, with the expectation that this will increase self-confidence in students who have struggled academically and emotionally in the past.
  • NeuroMite psychologists advise learning support staff and specialists about student ability deficits that may block education development and ways to adjust learning support strategies while running NeuroMite sessions. The program essentially becomes the cornerstone of a student’s learning support program.
