NeuroMite Program Design
Integrating research from psychology, education, and neuroscience to develop underlying cognitive abilities such as attention, memory, impulse control, and non-cognitive factors such as confidence, resilience and mindset, to improve learning capacity, scholastic results, and classroom behaviour.
Design Principles for NeuroMite
Accelerating Learning for Life
Schuhfried Australia introduces its innovative and exciting new school student development program, “NeuroMite – Accelerating learning for life”, for improving cognitive and non-cognitive abilities starting at Grade 3 and going through to Grade 10.
The NeuroMite Model
Integrating cognitive and non-cognitive abilities into a holistic model to better understand learning effectiveness, academic achievement and success in life.
NeuroMite Designed for all Abilities
The program offers an opportunity to make a difference to the cognitive abilities for all school students irrespective of their level of academic achievement.
Special Needs or Learning Difficulties
For students with special needs or learning difficulties, the NeuroMite program provides tailored development to rehabilitate essential human abilities required for learning and acquiring knowledge. Learning difficulties in students are mostly caused by one or more deficits in areas such as attention, memory, concentration, and planning.
Alignment with ACARA
Our NeuroMite program supports the national curriculum requirements of schools by the Federal Government. Whilst the NeuroMite program does not directly "teach" the national curricula, it enables schools and teachers to increase their effectiveness.
Education Queensland Endorsement
Schuhfried Australia recently received approval from Education QLD to approach their schools directly to offer the program; they acknowledge the insight that neuroscience offers educators in terms of focused development of cognitive abilities. Education Qld have recognised that our program has achieved positive results for state school students.
