Would your school be interested in trialing Learning Ability Profiling for free?

Profiling learning abilities of students objectively informs teaching strategy and helps to identify pathways for improved learning effectiveness.

Invest in your school’s success by getting started on a Professional Development journey into Neuroscience and Applied Psychology in Education. Schools can now quickly and objectively profile student learning abilities with nominal effort while gaining strategic insight into how to work around learning ability weaknesses in order to gain access to and leverage learning ability strengths.

The trial process is relatively quick and easy with nominal impact on school resources. The school selects 3 students (from grade 3 through 8) across the spectrum of academic performance. We recommend one in the low range with learning difficulties, one in the average range who you suspect could be doing better, and one in the high range who may be experiencing productivity issues.

We conduct a diagnostic assessment with the students at school, which takes around 60 minutes to complete using an online automated test battery. Our psychologists subsequently prepare a learning ability profile for each student in order to provide an in-depth feedback session for key teachers and learning support teachers involved with the selected students

The NeuroMite Learning Ability Profiling package includes:

Objective assessment of student learning abilities

  • Scientifically validated tests (as used by Neuropsychologists and clinicians worldwide) comprehensively assess student learning abilities
  • Tests are precise, brief and reliable measures of key factors that underpin student learning capacity and academic results
  • Engaging tests, i.e. visual and auditory stimulus promotes student interest and engagement

Learning ability profile developed for each student

  • Psychologists develop learning ability profiles for students
  • Learning ability strengths and weaknesses identified
  • Note: strengths can often be masked by weaknesses thereby blocking access to learning ability strengths.

Psychologist feedback session for teachers to inform teaching strategy

  • Session provides greater insights into student learning capacities
  • Feedback combines insights with known linkages to academic results
  • Learning implications and teaching strategies emerge as enhanced pathways to improve student learning potential

The free trial is available for a limited time only. To express your interest, please email us on contact@neuromite.com.au
