The ALERT training module within the NeuroMite program trains the alertness dimension of attention – the ability to temporarily increase and sustain the intensity of attention.
Working Memory (spatial coding) Training:
The CODING training module within the NeuroMite program trains monitoring processes and spatial coding in visuo spatial working memory.
Working Memory (updating - spatial) Training:
The DATEUP training module within the NeuroMite program trains the executive updating function of spatial working memory. Updating is the ability to renew memory contents in a controlled and goal-directed manner.
The DIVID training module within the NeuroMite program trains divided attention – the ability to perform different tasks simultaneously.
The FOCUS training module within the NeuroMite program trains focused attention – the ability to respond only to relevant stimuli among a high density of distracting stimuli.
Executive Functions (response inhibition) Training:
The HIBIT training module within the NeuroMite program trains response inhibition – the ability to suppress unwanted reactions.
Long-Term Memory (learning of face-name associations) Training:
The NAMES training module within the NeuroMite program enables the student to practice effective strategies for learning people's names and associating them with faces.
Working Memory (updating - visual) Training:
The NBACK training module within the NeuroMite program trains the monitoring function of working memory – the ability to retain information and continuously update it.
Executive Functions (planning and action skills) Training:
The PLAND training module within the NeuroMite program trains action and planning skills through the presentation of realistic planning tasks.
Spatial Processing (Mental Rotation) Training:
The ROTATE training module within the NeuroMite program trains the ability to form a three-dimensional mental image of an object depicted in two dimensions and to manipulate the image by means of a change of perspective or rotation (mental rotation).
Selective Attention Training:
The SELECT training module within the NeuroMite program trains selective attention – the ability to respond quickly to relevant stimuli and to suppress inappropriate responses.
Neglect/Visual (Visuo-Spatial Attention) Training:
The SPACE training module within the NeuroMite program was created for patients with hemineglect but it can also be used successfully with patients who have an impairment of the visual field. It improves the visuospatial directing of attention and is intended to train the specific ability to direct attention to stimuli on the contralesional side of the field of vision.
The VIG training module within the NeuroMite program trains the attention dimension of vigilance – the ability to sustain attention over a lengthy period of time under monotonous stimulus conditions.
Visuomotor Coordination Training:
The VISMO training module within the NeuroMite program trains visuomotor coordination - the ability to coordinate hand and arm movements in response to visual stimuli.
Working Memory (rehearsal - visuospatial) Training:
The VISP training module within the NeuroMite program trains and improves active rehearsal in spatial working memory.
